About GenomART
GenomART is a portal of digital art also interested in contemporay art. It was foundend in 2001 by Marco Coraggio (architect) and Carlo Quadrino (sociologist)
GenomART periodically organizes seminaries, personal and collective exhibitions (on-line and off-line), Awads.
GenomART carries out an intense informative activity: 1060 international links (Galleries, Museum, Centre of Contemporary Art, Festival…), researches, essays, magazine, paper.
GenomART gives also a Net-ART project “TELA INFINITA”. A mix of ideas and artistic signs, the first BLOG ART of the Web.
GenomART promotes famous, unknown and emergent artists.
GenomART is a partner of Italian Web Awards and University of Salerno (I.C.T. Centre)
GenomART projects web art sites and portal.
The instruments
The GAG-GenomART Gallery: a permanent art exhibition aimed to the promotion and sale of works of art. (Till now many works of 45 artists from all over the world also showed with their personal way of thinking and working).
Seminaries: a space dedicated to the divulgation and information in network with Universities, Experimental Centres and Institutions. It organizes meetings with artists and experts about the connections between art and new informatic technologies. (Till now 5 art seminaries and 10 technical-scientific seminaries).
Personal and Collective exhibitions: organization and promotion of art exhibitions. (Till now 22 personal and 3 collective).
Art Agency: creation of special occasions. Personal and Collective exhibitions in innovative spaces, meetings between artists and business operators, artists and critics, presence at Competitions and Festivals.
Census of digital artists from Campania: elaboration of the first database about digital artists – photography, videoproduction, webproduction… – from Campania or living in Campania. (Till now 240 artists).
